These cases are only assigned to our most experienced investigators. There are many challenges associated with cold case investigation. A lot of police agencies do not have the manpower to staff cold case units and that is where we can be of assistance.

The degradation of evidence, faded memories, location of witnesses, and the potential that some critical witnesses may have passed away, are only a few of the challenges that have to be dealt with on cold cases. 

That being said, there have been many successful outcomes of cold cases with the advent of new technologies, none more important than DNA. Our investigators are aware of these technologies and we have access to private DNA laboratories that utilize state of the art techniques that have aided in solving many cold cases. 

We will go over the entire case and attempt to identify evidence or new technology that we think could be beneficial in the case. We will interview any living victims, witnesses, persons of interest/suspects, and utilize all current technologies to assist in the case.

After the initial review, we will update the client on whether there is sufficient information to move forward with further investigation.
